2026 Underground Pride

Press Release

This marks the fifth year of The Denver Underground Pride, and for 2026, we are continuing our theme of WRATH! Given the current political climate, this theme resonates deeply. For the queer community, this is not a time to feel prideful, but rather a time of righteous anger. Pride, after all, began as a riot in 1969, and we believe our celebrations should honor that legacy. While we understand some folx celebrate the pride we do have, many of us are ready to stand up and fight for the rights and freedoms that are under threat, or who have already them taken. Join us this year to immerse yourself in queer love, queer grief, queer joy, and queer anger. Together, we stand strong: we are here, we are queer, and we are not going anywhere!

The Denver Underground Pride is a community-driven event featuring over 200 queer, local Colorado artists, musicians, drag performers, DJs, vendors, and more! This grassroots event operates entirely without sponsors or external funding. Instead, it runs on a DIY profit-sharing model to ensure fairness and accessibility.

There are no advance ticket sales. The entry is donation based at the door, making the event as inclusive as possible. All donations are evenly distributed among the performers, guaranteeing fair pay for everyone involved.

As a production company organizing such a large event, it would be easy to accept funding from big brands. However, we believe it’s far more meaningful to create a truly safe, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome and valued without the bribes of companies and corporations.

Full line up, posters, schedules, and FAQ can be found on this page or the Underground Pride main tab.
